A day of live music can be a weekend plan; Tampa Pig Jig adds a fundraising story to the reason for going.

The festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Julian B. Lane Park in Tampa, with Thomas Rhett headlining the announced lineup.

Midland, Kameron Marlowe and Sister Hazel are also among the announced acts.

From a backyard fundraiser to a riverfront festival

The ticket listing traces the event to friends organizing a barbecue fundraiser after a rare kidney disease diagnosis.

The HopeWill Foundation hosts the festival, whose longstanding beneficiary is NephCure, supporting work on FSGS and nephrotic syndrome.

The current event description also says the foundation is expanding support to local nonprofit partners serving people with serious medical diagnoses.

That mission is useful context for understanding the event, without assuming that a ticket's entire price is a charitable donation.

Compare the ticket tiers

The organizer's ticket page lists all-in prices, including taxes and fees, of $140 General Admission, $275 GA+ and $590 Milestone Supply Lounge, checked October 10.

GA includes live music and access to the main lawn and Food Row; upgraded tiers add different viewing and hospitality benefits.

The Lounge lists barbecue and complimentary drinks, while GA+ lists three beverages and a merchandise credit.

Those are different packages, so compare what is included rather than treating every tier as an all-inclusive meal.

Food Row is not the barbecue competition

Competition teams are amateur participants and may not serve food to the public; the organizer directs visitors to Food Row vendors for food purchases.

The FAQ puts the first artist at approximately 1 p.m. and the headliner at approximately 8 p.m., with times subject to change; these are not confirmed gate-opening times.

Bring the family—and plan the arrival

Children 10 and younger enter free with a ticketed adult, while ages 11 and older need their own ticket.

Tickets must be purchased online through the authorized Tixr link, subject to availability; there are no event-day onsite ticket sales.

The FAQ says parking is limited and not designated for the event, and identifies downtown garages as options.

A rideshare lane is listed on North Boulevard in front of the park.

The organizer lists an accessible viewing area with chairs, but no designated event ADA parking; contact the event team for specific access needs.

Review the bag and prohibited-item rules before leaving—outside food and drinks and personal chairs are among the restrictions.

The event is advertised as rain or shine with final ticket sales; check organizer updates and the current forecast before departure.

A little advance planning leaves more of the day for the music, the food and the community cause that brought them together.
